This is a project to build a set of Seismometer's to be used different locations. Conceptually, the Seismometers, placed many miles apart, will all record any vibration local to them. Each will be an internet connected device and time synced. Periodically, data from all the Seismometers are collated and compared, and any vibration signature that has been recorded by more than one Seismometer, within a very close time frame can be seen to be non-local to any one Seismometer, and therefore a genuine seismic event.

The equipment will be based on the build log from this well regarded project [Seismometer]. The Internet connectivity and the central processing will be developed by my own design.
